08 · A Year Here

Ten months, and any number of nights inside them.

From 1 March to 2 January, come down for a weekend, a week, or whenever you have a free night. There is no booking to make and no checkout time waiting at the end of it.

What stays here

The coats stay in the wardrobe, the wellingtons by the door, the book you started last time still where you left it.

A weekend here does not start with packing the car.

No checkout

Nobody is booked in after you.

Come for two nights and stay for a month if you feel like it.

The summer holidays

The whole of them sits inside the season.

Come for a fortnight, go home for a week, and come back for the bank holiday.

Yours to share

Friends and family can use your lodge when you are not here.

Free of charge, and you do not have to be there.

Christmas and New Year

The tree goes up in the lodge, and the family comes to you.

Christmas dinner around your own table, then Boxing Day on the beach at Rest Bay and back to the lodge to get warm again. The season runs to the second of January, so New Year is here too if you want it.
