The space

One open room from the front windows through to the kitchen, with shaker panelling, pendant lights and a feature media wall down one side. The U-shaped kitchen sits at the heart of it, opening onto a round table rather than a corner. King size lift-up bed in the main bedroom, with an en-suite WC and a mirrored dressing table.

A three seater freestanding sofa with a fold out bed and a two seater alongside, double sliding patio doors, and brushed chrome sockets with USB outlets throughout. A gas oven and grill with a four-burner hob, an integrated microwave, fridge freezer, slimline dishwasher and extractor, with under cabinet and plinth lighting. Single beds with upholstered headboards in the second bedroom.

Ownership, included

The price on the holiday home is the price you pay: sited, fully connected, with the decking down and the essentials already taken care of.

The setting

A small, privately held park on the Glamorgan coast. Twenty-five lodges, eighty pitches, set in countryside between Royal Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and the Grove. Quiet by design. Rest Bay is a few minutes from the gate, and the harbour and town two miles south. Cardiff, forty-five minutes. The rest of the world, a little further out.
