The space

Swift's countryside lodge, in sage green with brass fittings and a patterned tile floor running through the kitchen and dining end. Freestanding sofas facing the fire, a table that seats six, and a Velux over the kitchen that lifts the whole room. King size bed with a twin alongside.

A shaker style kitchen with soft close doors and brass handles, a four-burner gas hob, a glass fronted electric oven and grill, an integrated fridge freezer and microwave and a full size dishwasher. Bluetooth audio into the lounge ceiling speakers and a full height feature radiator. King size lift-up bed with a Duvalay mattress and an en-suite thermostatic shower, twin beds behind, and an entrance hall with a cloakroom.

Ownership, included

The price on the lodge is the price you pay: sited, fully connected, with the decking down and the essentials already taken care of.

• Full composite decking, sized to the lodge footprint
• No age limit on the lodge. It is yours to keep for as long as you like.

Gas, electricity and water are metered separately. Holiday use only.

The setting

A small, privately held park on the Glamorgan coast. Twenty-five lodges, eighty pitches, set in countryside between Royal Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and the Grove. Quiet by design. Rest Bay is a few minutes from the gate, and the harbour and town two miles south. Cardiff, forty-five minutes. The rest of the world, a little further out.
