Our Toronto Lodge (three-bedroom) holiday home in detail:

The lounge is bright and welcoming, thanks to front ‘Aspect’ French doors and a large front window that fills the space with natural light. It’s furnished with freestanding two- and three-seater sofas, a matching chair, and a built-in entertainment unit featuring LED-lit shelving, a 2kW Optiflame® fire, and a 40-inch branded TV. The design is rounded off with a full-height feature radiator, wall mirror, and a coffee table with hidden cube stools.

The U-shaped kitchen is designed with shaker-style matte doors and a breakfast bar with stools. It includes a five-burner gas hob with central wok burner, a glass-fronted electric oven and grill, and a wine cooler. There’s also an integrated microwave, dishwasher, and a double-door fridge-freezer. A black granite-effect sink and curved extractor fan bring elegance to the kitchen area, while a roof Velux overhead fills the space with light. The adjacent ‘Helsinki’ dining table with wraparound seating makes mealtimes relaxed and sociable.

The main bedroom is a true sanctuary, featuring a king-size bed with lift-up storage, upholstered headboard, overhead lockers, and a high-quality Duvalay™ Alba-Ortho mattress. There is also an ottoman with padded top, a large mirrored wardrobe with hidden drawer unit, and a vanity area with mirror, drawer, cube stool, and overhead TV mount.

The twin bedroom includes Duvalay mattresses with Crib 5-rated fabric and a vanity unit with mirror and power socket. The third bedroom showcases a unique layout with three crossover bunk beds, a high-level wardrobe, built-in shelving, and a mirror with shelf and socket. This configuration is particularly suited for larger families who value flexibility and smart use of space.

Bathrooms are well-appointed with thermostatic showers, chrome towel radiators, and LED illuminated vanity mirrors with infrared sensors and demisting pads. The en suite includes a full-size bath, while the main bathroom has a Velux window for natural light, dual flush WC, and contemporary silver splashbacks. Both are fitted with extractor fans and soft-close toilet seats.

The large walk-in utility cupboard is cleverly tucked away and includes a freestanding washer-dryer, boiler, coat hooks, shoe shelving, and storage, keeping the main living space clutter-free.

Toronto lodges are built to BS3632:2015 residential specification and feature bonded sandwich wall construction, CanExel composite cladding in Timberwolf and Mist Grey, and a coated steel pantile roof. Thermaglass double glazing, a SIPs floor, and enhanced insulation in the roof, walls, and underfloor area ensure excellent energy efficiency and sound insulation. The lodge is heated by a powerful 30kW gas combi boiler with a wireless programmable thermostat for optimal climate control.

Exterior features include a galvanised twin-axle I-beam chassis with a 10-year warranty, push-button security locks on uPVC windows, PVC guttering, LED downlights under the front eaves, and a 240V exterior socket for added convenience.
