Two bedrooms, thirty eight feet by twelve, and a full height window across the front of the lounge that takes in whatever the light is doing.

The space

Swift's town house scheme, in indigo and Halifax oak. The kitchen runs in a U with forty millimetre Levanto marble effect worktops and pendants over the centre, and it opens straight onto the dining end rather than being shut away. A Voltino flame effect fire in the lounge, and a king size lift-up bed with a Duvalay Aurora mattress in the main bedroom.

Freestanding sofas with a fold out bed, an ottoman footstool and a large round mirror. A glass fronted oven and grill, a four-burner gas hob, an externally vented cooker hood, an integrated fridge freezer, microwave and slimline dishwasher. Twin beds with Duvalay Aurora mattresses in the second bedroom.

Ownership, included

The price on the holiday home is the price you pay: sited, fully connected, with the decking down and the essentials already taken care of.

The setting

A small, privately held park on the Glamorgan coast. Twenty-five lodges, eighty pitches, set in countryside between Royal Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and the Grove. Quiet by design. Rest Bay is a few minutes from the gate, and the harbour and town two miles south. Cardiff, forty-five minutes. The rest of the world, a little further out.
