PEMBERTON · TWIN UNIT LODGE
The pinnacle.
Two king bedrooms, forty feet by twenty two, and the largest footprint on the park. Two sets of bifold doors across the front elevation.
Pemberton's flagship. The living end takes two deep buttoned sofas facing each other instead of lining a wall, and the island sits in the middle of the kitchen rather than against it. A range cooker, a downlit fireplace, and a skylight over the kitchen. Both bedrooms take a five foot bed.
Classically panelled walls and a wood effect panelled ceiling throughout, with a Hive heating system on gas combi central heating. A vast island with a pop-up socket, a wine cooler, an integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave, and an extendable dining table with plush chairs. Five foot upholstered divans with lift-up storage in both bedrooms, thermostatic showers to the main bathroom and en-suite, and an electric combination safe.
The price on the lodge is the price you pay: sited, fully connected and decked, with the essentials already taken care of.
Gas, electricity and water are metered separately. Holiday use only.
A small, privately held park on the Glamorgan coast. Twenty-five lodges, eighty pitches, set in countryside between Royal Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and the Grove. Quiet by design. Rest Bay is a few minutes from the gate, and the harbour and town two miles south. Cardiff, forty-five minutes. The rest of the world, a little further out.
Come and walk through one. No photograph gets this right. We are open every day, ten until five.
