ABI · HOLIDAY LODGE
Scandi calm, Welsh coast.
Two bedrooms, forty feet by thirteen. A wood burner style fire, pale oak against graphite, and a sliding door the width of the front.
ABI call the Langdale a Scandi hideaway and the detail bears it out. Graphite cabinetry with barely-there handles, forty millimetre worktops, pale oak everywhere else, and a wood burner style fire standing free at the end of the lounge rather than built into a wall. Nature-inspired fabrics at every window. King size lift-up bed in the main bedroom with its own shower room.
Soft-close drawers throughout, an integrated oven with a separate hob, an externally vented cooker hood, a composite sink, a full size dishwasher and a washing machine. USB sockets to the lounge and both bedrooms. Feature wallboards behind every bed, an entrance seat and coat store by the door.
The price on the lodge is the price you pay: sited, fully connected, with the decking down and the essentials already taken care of.
Gas, electricity and water are metered separately. Holiday use only.
A small, privately held park on the Glamorgan coast. Twenty-five lodges, eighty pitches, set in countryside between Royal Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and the Grove. Quiet by design. Rest Bay is a few minutes from the gate, and the harbour and town two miles south. Cardiff, forty-five minutes. The rest of the world, a little further out.
Open every day, ten until five.
